ПРЕГЛЕД САВРЕМЕНИХ ИСТРАЖИВАЊА РЕЛИГИОЗНОСТИ И МЕНТАЛНОГ ЗДРАВЉА

Abstract

Број истраживања која се баве односом религиозности и менталног здравља у је порасту, а њихови резултати су често контрадикторни. Циљ
овог рада био је да, прегледом резултата најновијих истраживања, покушамо да дамо прецизније одговоре на питања о повезаности религиозности и менталног здравља. У разматрање смо укључили само она истраживања која су објављена од 2000. године до данас. Можемо закључити да већина савремених истраживања потврђује претпоставку о позитивној повезаности између религиозности и потпуног менталног здравља. То значи да су религиозност и духовност, најчешће, негативно повезане са индикаторима менталних болести, а позитивно са индикаторима позитивног менталног здравља. У научној јавности влада велико интересовање за истраживање религиозности, духовности и њихових аспеката, као фактора који су изузетно важни за ментално здравље и адекватно психичко функционисање.
