For his dedicated work for the Serbian Orthodox Church, he was rewarded several times. Nestor Trkulja passed away also in Mileseva monastery, considering serbian Communists killed him in autumn of 1941. However, it turned out to be he was blameless. On that conclusion clearly indicates archival documentation from that period. Later, that was admited by some of his executors. Life of this monk, devoted to the fate and church, but his tragic death also, represent one miniature from church, social and political history of Yugoslavia during the first half of 20. century.
