АПОКАЛИПТИЧКИ ЕЛЕМЕНТИ У ОПИСУ БИТКЕ КОД ДОРИСТОЛОНА (971) У ДЕЛУ ЛАВА ЂАКОНА
Abstract
Апокалиптичка атмосфера у Историји Лава Ђакона никада не
прераста у класичан апокалиптички наративни оквир. То се најбоље види на примеру
описа битке код Дористолона, који, иако богат апокалиптичким алузијама – од
којих је најексплицитнија поређење битке код Дористолона са библијском
апокалиптичком битком Израела са Гогом и Магогом (Јез 38–39) – ипак не
представља крајњу апокалиптичку победу добра над злом, којом се завршава
историја старог еона. И поред тога, у опису наведене битке писац користи бројне
апокалиптичке алузије, тако да библијска апокалиптичка мисао несумњиво
доприноси бољем разумевању текста, тј. историјског али и метаисторијског
значаја најбриљантније Цимискијеве победе.
