ОСНИВАЊЕ КОНСТАНТИНОПОЉА – ПОЧЕТНА ТАЧКА ШИРЕЊА ВИЗАНТИЈСКЕ КУЛТУРЕ
Abstract
првом делу рада, аутор говори о разлозима за премештање
престонице Римског царства на Исток, о могућим локацијама новога града и
Божијој иницијативи која је навела Константина да изабере локацију старог
Византа за изградњу свога новог града. Затим се говори о давању новог имена граду
и грађевинским подухватима које је цар предузео да би га улепшао. У завршном делу
рада аутор истиче да се Константинопољ битно разликовао од Рима, а то је да је
од самог почетка намеравано да он буде хришћански град.
