LE SENS ORTHODOXE DE LA TRADITION
Abstract
L’auteur de ce texte part de la constatation que la référence à la Tradition est très importante dans l’Eglise orthodoxe. Cette référence loin d’être un simple traditionalisme, auquel la mentalité actuelle tend souvent à l’associer, ou un pur attachement des différentes Eglises locales à leurs traditions propres, doit être comprise en lien avec l’intégrité de la foi et des pratiques orthodoxes. Etant donné qu’elle se fonde sur le Christ qui englobe la totalité de l’humanité dans la totalité des siècles, et qui reste le même „hier, aujourd’hui et à jamais “ (He 13, 8), la Tradition de même peut être ouverte à la fois sur le passé, le présent et l’avenir et ainsi aux nouvelles expressions et différentes manifestations en n’alternant pas la vérité de sa foi.
