THE CHRISTIANS OF ST. THOMAS, THE APOSTLE
(Malabar Church or Syrian Indian Church)
Abstract
This church, which was founded and developed along the southeast coast of India, in Malabara area, belongs to the congregation of eastern churches. The legend says that the church was initiated by St. Thomas the apostle, although the evangelization of India by St. Thomas is a disputed claim.
