СВЕТИ ЈОВАН КРСТИТЕЉ И ИСУС ХРИСТОС У МАНДАИЗМУ
Abstract
Мандаизам је део гностицизма, који се састоји из компилација јуда-
изма, хришћанства и других вера. Присталице ове вере су познати као мандаити. Велико
поштовање придају Светом Јовану Крститељу, због чега су једно време били познати
као Хришћани Светог Јована Крститеља. Иако га мандаити не сматрају Месијом, нити
Сином Божијим, више га цене као великог пророка и исцелитеља. Постоји низ веровања
о његовом животу и личности. С друге стране, Исуса Христа сматрају обмањивачем,
лажовом и лажним Месијом. Хришћанство доживљавају као опасну веру, која уништава
душу и ум, стога њихови списи су пуни упозорења на хришћане.
