AUX SOURCES DES TENTATIVES DE REFORMES LITURGIQUES DE CES DERNIERES DECENNIES DANS CERTAINES PAROISSES ORTHODOXES: LES OEUVRES DU PERE ALEXANDRE SCHMEMANN ET DU PERE NICOLAS AFANASSIEFF
Abstract
Dans les quatre dernières décennies, un certain nombre de réformes
liturgiques ont été introduites (ou ont fait l’objet d’une tentative d’introduction) dans
certaines paroisses de certaines Églises orthodoxes locales. Ces réformes se sont assez
largement répandues dans l’Église orthodoxe en Amérique (OCA), dans les paroisses de
France et d’Europe de l’Archevêché des églises orthodoxes russes en Europe occidentale
(dont le siège est rue Daru à Paris), mais se sont manifestées aussi dans quelques paroisses
du Patriarcat de Moscou, du Patriarcat de Serbie, du Patriarcat de Roumanie et de
l’Église russe hors-frontières (diocèse d’Allemagne) situées en Europe. Des tentatives
d’introduction des mêmes réformes ont été faites dans certaines paroisses en Serbie même.
Ces réformes ont été et restent à des degrés divers, des sources de troubles, de divergences,
voire de divisions dans les pays concernés, dans la mesure où elles ont souvent été
introduites librement et de manière variable par quelques prêtres seulement, parfois sans
bénédiction de l’évêque local, parfois avec son autorisation (voire ses encouragements),
mais sans que cela ait fait l’objet d’une décision officielle de l’Assemblées des évêques ou
du Synode des Églises locales concernées, et encore moins d’un concile panorthodoxe.
