ЗАКЛЕТВА НА ВЕРНОСТ АВГУСТЕ ЕВДОКИЈЕ МАКРЕМВОЛИТИСЕ РОМЕЈСКОМ ЦАРУ КОНСТАНТИНУ Х ДУКИ
Abstract
У раду се разматра заклетва на верност августе Евдокије Макремволитисе ромејском цару Константину Х Дуки из 1067. године. Реч је о царичиној заклетви да се након смрти Константина Дуке неће поново удавати. У историји Византије то је једина изјава којом се једна августа заклиње на верност цару-мужу. Сврха рада је да се заклетва, као јединствено сведочанство византијског културног наслеђа, преведе на српски језик и објасни у контексту друштвене историје Царства XI века.
