Abstract
Апстракт: Отац Георгије Флоровски је прослављени православни теолог и један од најважнијих хришћанских историчара новијег времена. Године 1957, док је био професор на Харвардском теолошком факултету, започео је писање уводног дела у историју Православне Цркве. Иако Флоровски никада није завршио књигу, неколико поглавља је сачувано у нацрту у његовој личној заоставштини на Универзитету у Принстону, укључујући и поглавље о Великом расколу 1054. године. Овај чланак пружа преглед започете књиге Флоровског и објашњава како је филозофска и теолошка посвећеност Флоровског утицала на његов историографски приступ.
